Every Landscape
Tells a Different Story

The landscape is never truly still. Clouds drift, shadows lengthen and light transforms familiar places into something entirely new. Every photograph exists because, for a brief moment, those elements aligned before disappearing again.

LKDWN Prints is an ongoing collection of fine art landscape photography documenting those fleeting moments. Rather than individual destinations, each collection forms part of a larger visual narrative shaped by atmosphere, memory and the experience of returning to the same places over time.

Every artwork is professionally produced using museum-quality archival papers and pigment inks, creating prints designed to be lived with for decades rather than seasons.

The Photographer

John
McHugh

I'm John McHugh, a Glasgow photographer and retired graphic designer. A long career working with image, composition and colour still shapes the way I see the world.

LKDWN Prints brings together the photographs I most want to share—fleeting light, striking places and moments worth holding onto. After all, what else would I do with them?

Every image in these collections was photographed and edited by me, with care, curiosity and love.
