Fifteen Years of Returning.
For more than fifteen years, John McHugh has returned to Pollença and Port de Pollença. Familiar streets, stone houses, orchards and the bright edge of the Mediterranean have gradually become part of an ongoing visual memory.
Majorca: Heat and Shade is a study of that return—intense colour, weathered surfaces, deep summer shadow and quiet moments discovered through familiarity rather than novelty.
